JL Closets, South Florida’s leader in high-end custom storage solutions, is looking for an Executive Finance Manager to oversee our financial operations and lead our remote finance team based in Argentina.
This isn’t your typical back-office role—you’ll be a key part of our leadership structure, helping us scale efficiently, strengthen internal financial systems, and provide financial insights that support strategic growth. What You’ll Do
Take ownership of daily financial operations—ensuring everything is accurate, timely, and compliant
Manage payroll, bank and credit card reconciliations, and overall bookkeeping
Lead and mentor two bookkeepers in Argentina, setting clear expectations and reviewing deliverables
Prepare monthly financial reports with actionable insights for leadership
Track budgets, cash flow, and financial performance to support smarter business decisions
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper accounting procedures and financial controls
Partner with external accountants on tax filings, audits, and year-end processes
Identify and implement improvements in financial workflows, systems, and team processes
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to leadership to support business growth and operational decisions
What You Bring
15+ years of finance or accounting experience, with a strong track record in leadership
Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting tools
Strong expertise in financial operations, accounting, reconciliations, payroll, bookkeeping, reporting, budgeting, cash flow, and financial compliance
Experience managing remote teams and working independently
Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
A sharp eye for detail, strong organizational habits, and a proactive mindset
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
A leadership approach that balances accountability with coaching and team development
Ability to take ownership of financial responsibilities and consistently follow through
