JL Closets, South Florida’s leader in high-end custom storage solutions, is looking for a Senior Financial Reporting Manager to oversee our financial reporting, financial operations, and remote finance team based in Argentina.
This isn’t your typical back-office role—you’ll be a key part of our financial leadership structure, helping us maintain accurate financial information, strengthen internal systems, and provide financial insights that support strategic growth. What You’ll Do
Take ownership of daily financial operations—ensuring everything is accurate, timely, and compliant
Prepare and review monthly financial reports and financial statements, providing actionable insights for leadership
Manage payroll, bank and credit card reconciliations, and overall bookkeeping
Lead and mentor two bookkeepers in Argentina, setting clear expectations and reviewing deliverables
Analyze financial results, budgets, cash flow, and financial performance to support smarter business decisions
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper accounting procedures and financial controls
Partner with external accountants on tax filings, audits, and year-end processes
Ensure financial information is complete, accurate, and delivered to leadership on a timely basis
Identify and implement improvements in financial reporting, accounting workflows, systems, and team processes
What You Bring
15+ years of finance or accounting experience, with a strong track record in leadership
Strong expertise in financial reporting, accounting operations, reconciliations, bookkeeping, payroll, budgeting, and cash flow
Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting tools
Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting procedures, and financial controls
Experience managing remote teams and working independently
Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
A sharp eye for detail, strong organizational habits, and a proactive mindset
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
A leadership approach that balances accountability with coaching and team development
