Job Overview
ABM Hospital is hiring a General Physician / Duty Medical Officer to manage morning and afternoon outpatient consultations (OPD) and coordinate inpatient care (IPD).
Key Responsibilities
Manage General Medicine OPD: diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses (diabetes, hypertension, fevers, seasonal infections).
Conduct IPD patient rounds, review treatment progress, and update charts.
Handle initial assessment and stabilization for daytime emergency and walk-in cases.
Coordinate with on-call specialists and manage patient admissions/discharges.
Candidate Profile & Qualifications
Qualification: MBBS (with valid TSMC / NMC registration). Doctors with MD/DNB in General Medicine or extensive GP experience are welcome.
Experience: 0 to 3+ years in clinical practice, emergency triage, or hospital day shifts.
Skills: Strong clinical diagnostic acumen, clear patient communication, and routine emergency handling.
Languages: Telugu, Hindi/Urdu, and English.
Compensation Benchmark (Hyderabad Market)
Junior MBBS / Duty Doctor (1–2 yrs): ₹45,000 – ₹60,000 / month
Experienced General Physician (3+ yrs): ₹65,000 – ₹85,000+ / month
