Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Project Consultant at Taxcart. The Project Consultant will manage end-to-end implementation of Taxcart’s solutions for new and existing clients, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, and testing. The role involves coordinating with client stakeholders and internal technical teams, developing project plans and timelines, and ensuring projects are delivered on scope, time, and budget. The Project Consultant will provide guidance on tax automation best practices, assist with integrations into checkouts, invoicing tools, and ERPs, and support client onboarding and training. Ongoing responsibilities include monitoring project performance, identifying risks, proposing improvements, and maintaining clear, professional communication with clients throughout the engagement.
Qualifications
Project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating cross-functional teams.
Client-facing consulting skills, such as stakeholder management, requirements gathering, and solution presentation.
Technical implementation skills, including understanding of APIs, SaaS integrations, and basic data mapping.
Analytical and problem-solving skills for interpreting business processes and translating them into system configurations.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in clear, simple terms.
Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage multiple projects, and prioritize effectively.
Experience with tax, finance, e-commerce platforms, or ERP systems is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
