Senior Full Stack Java Developer with German-Romania

We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Java Developer with German to join our international development team and contribute to the design, development, and continuous improvement of modern enterprise applications.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java backend development, solid frontend skills, and hands-on experience building scalable applications using modern technologies. Strong communication skills in German and English are essential for collaborating with German-speaking clients and international development teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java and modern frontend technologies.
Develop robust and maintainable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
Develop responsive and user-friendly frontend applications using Angular, React, or similar frameworks.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects, QA Engineers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Translate business and technical requirements into effective software solutions.
Participate in architectural and technical design discussions.
Implement clean, maintainable, and testable code following software engineering best practices.
Develop integrations with internal and external systems and third-party APIs.
Work with relational and NoSQL databases and optimize queries where required.
Write unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure software quality.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex application issues and production incidents.
Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
Work with containerized applications and cloud-based environments.
Contribute to Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Collaborate directly with German-speaking stakeholders and provide technical input during discussions and workshops.
Support and mentor less experienced developers when required.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
5+ years of professional experience in Java development.
Strong hands-on experience with Java 11+ / Java 17+.
Strong knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Spring ecosystem.
Proven experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
Solid frontend development experience with Angular, React, or a comparable modern JavaScript framework.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or similar.
Good understanding of SQL and database design.
Experience with Git and modern version control practices.
Experience with unit and integration testing using tools such as JUnit, Mockito, or similar.
Good understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Experience with CI/CD tools and development pipelines.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
German – minimum B2/C1 level, with the ability to communicate effectively with German-speaking clients.
English – good professional level.
