We are looking for a skilled BI Developer with strong experience in SQL/PLSQL, Power BI, and data analysis to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing business intelligence solutions, creating insightful reports and dashboards, and transforming complex data into meaningful business insights.
The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver effective data visualization solutions that support informed decision-making.
Responsibilities
Develop, optimize, and maintain SQL and PL/SQL queries to support reporting and data analysis requirements.
Analyze, prepare, transform, and model data from various sources.
Design, develop, and maintain interactive reports, dashboards, and KPI analyses using Power BI.
Create and maintain DAX calculations, measures, and business metrics to support reporting needs.
Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into effective business intelligence solutions.
Collaborate with business departments and stakeholders to identify relevant data, define KPIs, and improve data visualization.
Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reports and analytical outputs.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, query performance, and the overall efficiency of BI solutions.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting standards and business intelligence practices.
Communicate technical findings and analytical results clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
Extensive hands-on experience with SQL and/or PL/SQL.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including report and dashboard development.
Proven experience creating reports, dashboards, and data analyses.
Solid knowledge of DAX for developing calculations, measures, and KPIs.
Previous experience working in a Business Intelligence or data analytics environment.
Understanding of data modeling and data preparation techniques.
Good understanding of data warehouse concepts and ETL processes is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Proficiency in both German and English.
Nice to Have
Experience with JasperReports.
Familiarity with GitLab and version control practices.
Knowledge of Angular.
Experience with Node.js.
