Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Sr. Engineer – GenAI Platform Automation to lead enterprise automation initiatives across Generative AI, Agentic AI, Data Science, Data Engineering, and Advanced Analytics platforms.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in platform engineering, DevOps, cloud-native technologies, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), CI/CD automation, and Python development. This role focuses on building scalable self-service automation frameworks that improve developer productivity, platform reliability, governance, and operational efficiency across enterprise AI and data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end automation initiatives for enterprise GenAI, Data Science, Metadata, Data Quality, Event Streaming, and Analytics platforms.
Design and implement self-service automation for infrastructure provisioning, environment management, deployment, governance, and monitoring.
Develop automation frameworks supporting the AI/ML lifecycle, including experimentation, model training, deployment, inferencing, and observability.
Implement Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform and related automation tools.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and release automation using Atlassian Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jira, and Confluence.
Automate Kubernetes, containerized, serverless, and distributed computing environments.
Develop automation solutions for Agentic AI applications, MCP-enabled services, API integrations, and event-driven workflows.
Implement monitoring, logging, tracing, alerting, automated remediation, and reliability engineering practices.
Collaborate with cloud engineering, platform engineering, architecture, security, governance, and data science teams.
Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, establish engineering best practices, and mentor team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications
10+ years of experience in platform engineering, automation engineering, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or distributed systems.
Strong hands-on experience with platform automation, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code, and DevOps methodologies.
Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, orchestration, and tooling development.
Hands-on experience with Terraform and cloud infrastructure automation.
Strong experience with the Atlassian DevOps ecosystem: Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jira, and Confluence.
Experience with Kubernetes, Docker/containers, serverless technologies, and distributed processing platforms such as YARN.
Understanding of Generative AI, Agentic AI, AI/ML platforms, and enterprise AI application deployment.
Knowledge of MCP frameworks, API integrations, workflow automation, and event-driven architectures.
Experience with Kafka or other event-streaming technologies.
Understanding of metadata management, data lineage, data governance, and semantic layers.
Experience with Jupyter, VS Code, interactive development environments, and developer productivity tools.
Knowledge of observability, monitoring, logging, security, scalability, resilience, and cloud cost optimization.
Strong communication, technical leadership, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with enterprise GenAI platforms, AI governance, and model lifecycle management.
Banking, AML, financial crime, fraud detection, or risk analytics domain experience.
Knowledge of GitOps, DevSecOps, Site Reliability Engineering, and platform engineering best practices.
Experience building reusable internal developer platforms and enterprise self-service automation solutions.
