Job Title: PHP Developer
Job Summary:
RupeeQ is looking for a skilled PHP Developer to develop, maintain, and optimize secure and scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with product, UI/UX, and technology teams to build high-performance solutions for our fintech platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and modern frameworks.
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Develop and optimize backend functionality and database queries.
- Work with MySQL or other relational databases.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and UI/UX designers.
- Identify and fix bugs, performance issues, and security vulnerabilities.
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Participate in testing, deployment, and ongoing application improvements.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with Laravel, CodeIgniter, or similar PHP frameworks.
- Good understanding of REST APIs and backend development.
- Knowledge of Git and version control systems.
- Understanding of database design and optimization.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms is an added advantage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in PHP development.
- Experience in Fintech, Banking, NBFC, or high-volume web applications is preferred.
