What we're looking for
A fast-growing US-based company that runs online sweepstakes and promotional giveaways across a family of consumer brands is looking for a Paid Search Media Buyer. Paid media is the engine of this business, and every campaign is measured, tested, and iterated on, with real budget ownership from day one.
What You'll Be Doing
Build, launch, and manage Google Ads campaigns across Search, YouTube, Performance Max, and Demand Gen for multiple brand verticals.
Run daily optimization on budgets, bids, audiences, creative rotation, and campaign structure.
Execute structured tests across bidding strategies, audiences, creative, and landing pages, and document what you learn.
Track performance against core business metrics like new customer ROAS, subscription growth, and AOV, not just platform-reported numbers.
Contribute clear, honest performance commentary to the weekly paid media reporting cadence.
Requirements
4+ years of hands-on, senior-level Google Ads experience at a B2C, DTC, E-commerce, or subscription business, with meaningful monthly budgets managed directly.
Strong expertise across Search, Performance Max, and YouTube campaigns, with Demand Gen experience a plus.
Comfortable with GA4 and Google Tag Manager, with experience in third-party attribution tools like Triple Whale or Northbeam a strong plus.
A clear understanding of the difference between platform ROAS and business reality, including incrementality, new versus returning customers, and attribution windows.
Experience writing clear, specific creative briefs and collaborating with creative teams.
Highly organized and self-directed, able to run a testing calendar and keep a change log without being chased.
Nice to Have
Experience advertising sweepstakes, promotions, or other regulated offer types.
Familiarity with Google's policy requirements around promotions and giveaways.
