ROLE CONTEXT
Vedanta Zinc International (VZI) operates two major mining complexes
in the Northern Cape:
VZI Projects – Ensure the work environment comply with all the relevant hygiene
standards to minimize potential health risk to employees.
PURPOSE OF
THE ROLE
Implementation
and management of effective OH strategies and systems based on risk
assessment outcome.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Responsible for leading and coordinating
all Occupational Hygiene and emergency preparedness & response matters to
ensure legal compliance including the compilation, implementation and
maintenance of OH COP’s, risk assessments and related documents.
