Role Description The Inventory Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for managing day-to-day inventory operations at Aster Pharmacy. This includes monitoring stock levels, processing goods receipt and dispatch, updating inventory records in internal systems, and coordinating with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely replenishment of products. The role involves conducting regular stock audits, tracking expiry dates, minimizing stock variances, and adhering to company and regulatory guidelines for pharmaceutical storage and handling. The Inventory Executive will work closely with store and warehouse teams to support smooth pharmacy operations, maintain accuracy of documentation, and provide clear reporting to management.
Qualifications
Strong skills in inventory management, stock reconciliation, and basic data entry or record-keeping in inventory systems.
Ability to work with MS Office or similar tools for reports, spreadsheets, and documentation.
Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and strong organizational skills for handling multiple product lines and locations.
Knowledge of pharmacy or healthcare retail operations, including handling of medicines and awareness of expiry and storage requirements, is an advantage.
Effective communication and coordination skills to work with store staff, warehouse teams, and suppliers.
Capability to follow standard operating procedures, maintain compliance with company policies, and support audit requirements.
Prior experience in inventory, storekeeping, or supply chain in retail or healthcare is preferred.
Minimum educational qualification: diploma or bachelor’s degree in commerce, business, supply chain, or a related field is beneficial.
