This is an opportunity to join the Asia Credit function in a highly visible role that combines reporting transformation, business analysis, project coordination, and data analytics. The successful candidate will play a key role in modernizing reporting processes through Power BI, delivering actionable insights to Credit and Front Office stakeholders, and supporting strategic transformation initiatives across the region. Beyond developing technical expertise in reporting and analytics, the role offers exposure to credit risk, investment operations, stakeholder management, and enterprise-wide process improvement initiatives. Candidates will gain the opportunity to influence decision-making, lead automation efforts, and build a well-rounded skill set spanning data analytics, project delivery, and financial services operations.
Position Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, visualizations, and reporting solutions to support Asia Credit and Front Office decision-making.
Transform and automate manual reporting processes, improving efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround time.
Perform complex data analysis, data mapping, data profiling, and data quality reviews to ensure reliable reporting outputs.
Support business initiatives through requirements gathering, process analysis, UAT coordination, project tracking, and stakeholder management.
Prepare presentations, status updates, process maps, and reporting materials that provide actionable business insights.
Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and data governance best practices.
Act as a reporting checker and support complex ad hoc reporting requests while partnering with Front Office stakeholders on operational and reporting matters.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of progressive experience within financial services and/or a shared services environment.
Hands-on experience designing, developing, and publishing Power BI dashboards, including data modelling, DAX, and Power Query.
Experience gathering business requirements, supporting UAT activities, and working on process improvement or transformation initiatives.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and provide business insights.
Advanced Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables.
Understanding of data governance, data quality, data modelling, and reporting processes.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience working across multiple stakeholder groups.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power Automate and Power Apps.
Working knowledge of SQL, Alteryx, VBA, or other reporting automation technologies.
Experience within credit risk, investment operations, middle office, or financial reporting environments.
Exposure to risk reporting and analytics tools.
Experience using AI-enabled tools, such as Microsoft Copilot, to enhance reporting, analysis, or process efficiency.
Experience in preparing executive-level presentations and communicating data-driven recommendations.
