Role Description
We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer for a full-time, on-site opportunity based in Morena, Madhya Pradesh, India.
The role is suitable for fresh graduates and technology professionals interested in backend software development, software engineering, application development, REST APIs, databases, microservices, cloud technologies, automation, system integration, and modern software-development practices.
The Backend Software Engineer will work closely with software, IT, data, analytics, operations, finance, production, supply chain, sales, and other business teams to design, develop, test, integrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve backend applications, APIs, databases, internal platforms, automation solutions, enterprise systems, and digital services.
The role may involve working with Java, Python, Node.js, C#, PHP, Go, Spring Boot, Django, Flask, FastAPI, Express.js, .NET, REST APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases, microservices, cloud platforms, messaging systems, testing tools, and modern backend-development technologies depending on project and business requirements.
Qualifications
B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc. / BCA / MCA / M.Sc. / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Applications, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
Freshers and experienced candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Candidates with 0–5 years of experience in backend software development, backend engineering, software engineering, application development, API development, web services, database development, enterprise software, or related technology roles can apply.
Candidates currently working as Backend Software Engineer, Backend Engineer, Backend Developer, Backend Software Developer, Software Engineer, Software Developer, Application Developer, Java Backend Engineer, Python Backend Engineer, Node.js Developer, API Developer, Full Stack Developer, Associate Software Engineer, Graduate Software Engineer, or Junior Software Engineer are encouraged to apply.
Candidates from IT services, SaaS, product companies, technology, consulting, e-commerce, fintech, telecom, analytics, manufacturing, logistics, FMCG, or other industries are welcome.
Basic to good knowledge of at least one backend programming language such as Java, Python, JavaScript/Node.js, C#, PHP, Go, or C++.
Understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, algorithms, exception handling, debugging, modular programming, clean coding, and software-development fundamentals.
Familiarity with backend frameworks such as Spring Boot, Django, Flask, FastAPI, Express.js, .NET, or similar technologies will be beneficial.
Basic to good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS, web services, authentication, authorization, API integration, and system integration.
Familiarity with SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis, or similar databases will be beneficial.
Understanding of database design, normalization, joins, indexing, transactions, schemas, queries, CRUD operations, and data-access concepts will be advantageous.
Exposure to microservices architecture, distributed systems, service-oriented architecture, scalable applications, or event-driven systems will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
Familiarity with Git, GitHub, version control, branching, pull requests, code reviews, debugging, and collaborative software-development workflows.
Exposure to JUnit, PyTest, Jest, Mockito, Postman, unit testing, integration testing, API testing, or similar testing tools will be beneficial.
Exposure to AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar cloud and DevOps technologies will be considered an advantage.
Basic understanding of Linux, command-line tools, application deployment, configuration management, environment variables, logging, monitoring, and production-support concepts will be beneficial.
Exposure to Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, caching, message queues, asynchronous processing, background jobs, or event-driven architecture will be advantageous.
Familiarity with OAuth, JWT, role-based access control, secure coding, API security, input validation, encryption, and application-security concepts will be beneficial.
Exposure to application performance optimization, database tuning, scalability, reliability, fault tolerance, logging, monitoring, and observability will be advantageous.
Familiarity with ORM technologies, database connectivity, persistence layers, transactions, connection pooling, and backend data-access patterns will be beneficial.
Exposure to automation, ETL/ELT, data engineering, analytics, AI/ML, generative AI, ERP, CRM, dashboards, reporting systems, or enterprise applications will be considered an additional advantage.
Exposure to frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Jira, SDLC, technical documentation, requirements gathering, user stories, sprint planning, or issue tracking will be advantageous but is not mandatory.
Good analytical, logical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication, documentation, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
Ability to understand business and technical requirements and translate them into practical, reliable, scalable, maintainable, and secure backend software solutions.
Willingness to work in an on-site environment.
Internship, academic project, backend project, API project, database project, Java project, Python project, Node.js project, web application, GitHub project, hackathon, freelance assignment, startup project, or open-source contribution will be considered but is not mandatory.
Candidates without previous full-time backend software-development experience can also apply.
