Role Description The Vice President Consulting Services is a full-time remote leadership role responsible for overseeing and expanding Orcas Capital’s consulting portfolio. This position will lead client engagements, define consulting strategies, and ensure that services are delivered with high quality, independence, and measurable business impact. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing consulting teams, guiding business process improvement initiatives, and collaborating with clients to diagnose challenges and design solutions. The role involves driving business development efforts, supporting sales pursuits, and cultivating long-term client relationships in target markets. The Vice President will also collaborate with internal stakeholders to align consulting offerings with the firm’s strategic priorities, enhance operational efficiency, and support sustainable growth.

Qualifications
Demonstrated expertise in Consulting and Business Process Improvement, with a track record of leading complex client engagements and transformation initiatives.
Strong Sales and Business Development skills, including experience identifying opportunities, shaping proposals, and closing consulting engagements.
Experience in IT Management, with the ability to oversee technology-related projects and collaborate effectively with technical teams.
Proven leadership capabilities, including managing diverse teams, mentoring consultants, and fostering a collaborative, inclusive work environment.
Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate insights clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
Advanced stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities, with experience working with executive-level clients.
Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, technology, or a related field; an advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
Experience in regulated or standards-driven environments and familiarity with quality, compliance, or oversight frameworks is beneficial.
Comfort working in a remote setting, with strong organizational skills, self-direction, and proficiency in digital collaboration tools.
