Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an Insurance Defense Attorney to join their litigation practice team handling defense matters throughout Texas. This is a high-performing and respected team that have a great reputation with clients all throughout Texas.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle insurance defense matters from pre-suit through trial and appeal
Defend clients in primarily state court litigation throughout Texas
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
Take and defend depositions
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school
Active Texas Bar admission required
3+ years of relevant insurance defense or civil litigation experience
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $160,000 – $220,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
