Role Description The Cluster Manager / Team Leader is responsible for managing and mentoring a team of sales and relationship professionals to achieve business targets within the assigned cluster. This full-time, on-site role is based in Gurgaon and focuses on driving life insurance sales, improving customer acquisition, and strengthening customer retention. Day-to-day activities include setting performance goals, monitoring sales metrics, supporting team members in client meetings, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. The role also involves coordinating with cross-functional teams, implementing sales strategies, conducting regular training and performance reviews, and reporting cluster performance to senior management. The Cluster Manager / Team Leader is expected to foster a collaborative, performance-driven culture while maintaining high standards of customer service and ethical conduct.
Qualifications
Strong team leadership and people management skills, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
Proven experience in sales, business development, or distribution management, preferably in insurance or financial services.
Ability to analyze sales data, track key performance indicators, and develop action plans to achieve targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills for engaging customers and internal stakeholders.
Sound understanding of life insurance products, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or relevant professional certification is an advantage.
Comfort working in an on-site, target-driven environment with a focus on customer-centric and ethical practices.
Proficiency in basic office productivity tools and reporting systems; ability to adapt to new sales and CRM platforms.
