Role Description The Studio Photographer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The photographer will handle day-to-day studio operations, including setting up lighting and backdrops, operating camera and related equipment, and conducting photo sessions for portraits, products, and other assignments. Responsibilities include coordinating with clients on shoot concepts, posing guidance, and ensuring a comfortable and professional shooting environment. The role also involves basic image selection, color correction, and retouching, as well as maintaining studio equipment and organizing files for efficient workflow. The photographer will collaborate with the studio team to support scheduling, meet deadlines, and uphold brand and quality standards.
Qualifications
Strong technical photography skills, including knowledge of studio lighting, camera settings, composition, and exposure control.
Proficiency with photo editing software (such as Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom) and basic retouching and color correction techniques.
Effective client interaction skills, including clear communication, posing guidance, and the ability to create a comfortable studio environment.
Good organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple shoots, manage file workflows, and meet delivery timelines.
Ability to work on-site full time in Bengaluru, including flexibility for occasional extended hours or weekend shoots as needed.
Attention to detail, reliability, and a consistent professional attitude in a team-oriented studio setting.
Formal training in photography or visual arts and prior studio photography experience are highly beneficial.
