Workday FI Tester

We are looking for an experienced Workday Finance (FI) Tester with 5+ years of experience in functional testing of Workday Financial Management modules. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of finance business processes, test case design, execution, defect management, and end-to-end testing.

Key Responsibilities
Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of Workday Financial Management modules.
Validate finance processes across General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Banking, Expenses, Procurement, and Fixed Assets.
Develop and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and functional specifications.
Validate financial transactions, accounting entries, journal postings, and financial reports.
Perform testing of Workday business processes, workflows, validations, and approval hierarchies.
Conduct integration testing between Workday Finance and third-party applications.
Identify, document, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.
Participate in SIT, UAT, regression testing, and production validation.
Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, developers, and finance stakeholders to resolve issues.
Prepare test execution reports, defect reports, and testing documentation.
Ensure data accuracy, financial integrity, and compliance with business requirements.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in software testing, with strong expertise in Workday Financial Management.
Hands-on experience in Workday Finance functional testing.
Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes, including GL, AP, AR, Expenses, Procurement, and Fixed Assets.
Experience in test planning, test case design, test execution, and defect lifecycle management.
Good understanding of Workday business processes, workflows, security, and financial configurations.
Experience in integration testing, regression testing, SIT, and UAT.
Familiarity with testing tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar defect management tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
