We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with 4–7 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, and business process analysis, along with exposure to AI-driven solutions.
Client: IBM
End Client: Shell
Experience: 5-8years
Location: Banglore
Notice period: 15days/Immediate
Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, validate, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
Analyze supply chain and logistics processes, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, order management, and shipment tracking.
Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flow diagrams.
Conduct gap analysis, identify process inefficiencies, and recommend improvements for operational efficiency and cost optimization.
Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for development and technical teams.
Identify and support AI/ML use cases related to demand forecasting, inventory optimization, logistics planning, and predictive analytics.
Analyze business data using Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytical tools.
Collaborate with developers, product owners, QA teams, and business stakeholders to ensure requirements are implemented correctly.
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validate business functionality, and track defects through resolution.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and requirement review meetings.
Monitor solution performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Mandatory Skills
4–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
Strong experience in the supply chain or logistics domain.
Hands-on experience in requirement gathering, stakeholder management, and business process analysis.
Experience preparing BRDs, FRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
Good understanding of supply chain processes such as procurement, inventory management, transportation, warehousing, and order management.
Exposure to AI/ML concepts, predictive analytics, or AI-driven business solutions.
Experience supporting UAT, requirement validation, and defect tracking.
Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
