About the Role:
We are hiring an Outreach Intern to drive outreach and channel partnerships for our pharma client, a manufacturer of packaging solutions for the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industry (eye drop bottles, oral droppers, measuring cups, lotion pumps, trigger sprayers, flip-top caps, and dispenser pumps). The role is majorly focused on research, identifying and engaging relevant prospects and partners over email, phone, and LinkedIn, supporting research-backed content and social media management, and building channel partnerships within the pharmaceutical and life sciences space. We are looking for candidates with a background in pharmaceuticals, life sciences, or a related field.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify and reach out to potential channel partners, distributors, and buyers for the client's pharma packaging product line.
• Conduct outreach via email, phone calls, and LinkedIn to relevant prospects and partners.
• Use LinkedIn search to identify and connect with relevant prospects and potential channel partners.
• Research industry trends, products, and competitors to support content and social media marketing (SMM) efforts.
• Support content creation and social media management (SMM) with research-backed inputs for posts and campaigns.
• Build and maintain an outreach list/database of prospects and partners; track outreach status.
• Draft and send outreach and follow-up emails; maintain a professional, consistent tone.
• Handle and follow up on inbound leads, respond promptly and keep leads engaged.
• Own the conversion/closing process for leads and partnership discussions: address queries, resolve objections, and guide prospects through to closure.
• Maintain accurate records of research, calls, emails, and partner status in a shared tracker (Excel.
• Report daily/weekly outreach and research findings, and progress updates, to the reporting manager.
Requirements
• Background in Pharmaceuticals, Life Sciences, or a related field is required.
• Comfortable conducting research and making calls and handling email communication confidently.
• Good spoken and written English/Hindi communication skills.
• Basic proficiency with Excel for tracking.
• Comfortable using LinkedIn for prospecting and outreach.
• Familiarity with content research and social media management (SMM) is a plus.
• Self-driven, organized, and comfortable with follow-ups and target-driven work.
• Prior experience in research, business development, or partnerships is a plus but not mandatory.
What Success Looks Like
Beyond just outreach volume, this role is measured on the quality of research and conversion, turning identified prospects into confirmed partnerships and closed deals.
