About Add to Event
We are the UK's leading Event Marketplace, connecting event organisers with the best matched event suppliers in one single request.
We've helped find suppliers for over 100,000 events - from birthday parties and weddings to large corporate events for the likes of the BBC, Accenture and JP Morgan with over 8,000 reviews on Trustpilot (4.9 star rating). With more than 300 services on the platform, from food vans to entertainers, we envision a world where anyone can organise their dream event in minutes, not months. We believe we can radically simplify the process of finding, booking and managing event suppliers, leading to better events everywhere, from fantastic festivals to wonderful weddings.
The role
We have big ambitions to help organisers find the perfect suppliers for their event and we need to keep growing the supplier side of our marketplace in the right places. We're looking for an experienced growth marketer to take the lead across strategic acquisition, retention and social.
This is a role for someone equally comfortable shaping strategy and rolling up their sleeves to deliver it. We want someone we can bounce ideas off at a strategic level, who'll then go and make them happen, whether that's setting up a campaign, briefing a filming day or writing retention emails. You'll bring both sharp analytical skills and a strong creative eye, and you'll be experienced at using AI tools to work smarter across the whole role.
This role reports into our Growth Manager and collaborates closely with the wider Growth, Customer Success and Product teams.
Responsibilities
Social Media & Content
Paid Social Strategy: Own our paid channels - planning and running UGC filming days and turning footage into high-performing content
Meta Business Suite: Build, test and optimise paid campaigns, knowing what works, experimenting with what might, and iterating relentlessly on performance
Lifecycle Marketing (Acquisition, Activation & Retention)
Data led insights to spot where we have high demand but low supply, and build clear, actionable plans to close those gaps
Acquisition strategy, uncovering new channels, methods and experiments to grow supplier numbers, particularly in the categories and regions where we need supply most
Automated CRM and lifecycle marketing to drive activation and retention, helping suppliers get more value from the platform and fast
Performance & KPIs
Own growth dashboard and reporting on key metrics: sign ups, publish rate, purchase rate, activation and retention
What we're looking for
A proven track record in growth marketing within a small team, start-up or marketplace, operating at both a strategic and a hands-on level
Data: A data-led, strategic mindset - able to read the numbers, develop a strategy and implement it well
Meta: Deep, hands-on expertise with Meta Business Suite and paid social
CRM / lifecycle marketing experience, with a focus on activation and retention metrics
AI First: Fluency with AI tools including Claude Code and with examples of using AI to optimise processes and workload
Tools we use include: Claude Code / Cowork, Canva, Intercom, Meta Business Suite
How we work
We're a totally remote business that believes in async working. We kick off the week with a team huddle and end on a virtual Friday social. We also get together in person for team sessions and our quarterly retreats, which are packed with focused workshops and the chance to meet our suppliers (which is why we ask for someone UK-based).
Diversity & Inclusion
Diversity and inclusion is a priority for everyone at Add to Event. We're committed to cultivating a fair and healthy working environment where people can be themselves and thrive in their work, treating one another with humility, respect and dignity at all times.
As a remote-first business, we take a flexible and collaborative approach to all aspects of our work, and we're always open to conversations about flexible working. We work to make our recruitment process as inclusive as possible, including making adjustments for people with a disability or long-term condition. If you'd like us to make adjustments during the application process, please contact us at lucy@addtoevent.co.uk.
