About The Role
We are seeking a talented and motivated Full-Stack Web Developer to join our dynamic team at Accenture Federal Services. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining modern digital experiences for federal clients. Your primary focus will be on building accessible, responsive, and reliable web and mobile applications using contemporary JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks. You will translate complex product requirements, UX designs, and user feedback into high-quality features and reusable components, ensuring seamless integration with back-end services and APIs. As a key contributor, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, security specialists, and client stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions. Depending on your experience level, you may also lead feature development, mentor junior engineers, and influence architectural standards across teams. Qualifications
Professional experience in full-stack, web, mobile, or product engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Proficiency with JavaScript or TypeScript and experience with modern frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue, Next.js, or similar technologies.
Hands-on experience with back-end technologies including Node.js, Python, Java, serverless architectures, or related platforms.
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and reusable component development.
Experience consuming and building REST APIs and integrating front-end experiences with back-end data sources.
Familiarity with code assist tools such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon CodeWhisperer, or Gemini Code Assist.
Knowledge of automated testing, source control, code review, debugging, and Agile methodologies.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts effectively.
For senior candidates: demonstrated ability to independently lead features, mentor others, influence technical patterns, and resolve ambiguities across teams.
Responsibilities
Develop modern, accessible, and responsive web and mobile applications using current JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks.
Translate product requirements, UX designs, prototypes, and user feedback into functional features and reusable UI components.
Integrate front-end experiences with APIs, services, and data sources, supporting serverless or lightweight back-end components.
Create and maintain design-system components, shared UI patterns, and engineering standards to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Write clean, testable, and maintainable code while participating in code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
Implement accessibility standards, Section 508 compliance, responsive behavior, security best practices, and optimize web performance.
Utilize AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate development, testing, documentation, and problem-solving activities, ensuring quality and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams including product managers, engineers, designers, security teams, and stakeholders to deliver high-impact solutions.
As experience progresses, lead complex features, mentor junior engineers, influence technical standards, and contribute to architectural decisions.
