Role Description The Human Resources Manager will oversee day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, performance management, and policy administration in a remote, part-time capacity. This role will manage recruitment activities, such as posting positions, screening applicants, coordinating interviews, and supporting onboarding to ensure a positive new-hire experience. The Human Resources Manager will maintain HR records, support compliance with employment laws and company policies, and assist with benefits and leave administration. The role will also develop and refine HR processes, support training and development initiatives, and provide guidance to managers and team members on HR best practices. Regular collaboration with leadership to support workforce planning, culture-building, and employee engagement will be an important component of this position.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in core HR functions, including employee relations, performance management, and HR policy administration.
Experience with recruitment and onboarding processes, including job posting, candidate screening, interviewing coordination, and new-hire integration.
Knowledge of employment laws, compliance requirements, and HR documentation practices, with strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and support team members at all levels.
Comfort working remotely, managing time effectively, and using HRIS and collaboration tools (e.g., HR software, video conferencing, and productivity platforms).
Proven ability to handle sensitive information, resolve conflicts, and support an inclusive, non-discriminatory workplace.
Prior experience in an HR Manager or similar HR leadership role is preferred; professional certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) are a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
