Remote Junior Data Analyst ($80K–$95K)

Location: Fully remote — candidates based in the New York City area
Compensation: $80,000–$95,000 USD annually, depending on experience, technical skills, and qualifications.
What You’ll Do
Collect, clean, organize, and analyze data from multiple sources
Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics
Use Excel and SQL to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities
Assist with tracking KPIs and evaluating business performance
Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable recommendations
Collaborate with business, product, operations, and engineering teams
Identify data inconsistencies and help improve data quality
Automate recurring reports and streamline data analysis processes
Document analytical processes, reporting methods, and key findings
Support ad hoc analysis and special projects across the organization
Who You Are
Analytical, curious, and comfortable solving problems using data
Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
Familiar with SQL or motivated to develop strong SQL skills
Comfortable working with spreadsheets, reports, and numerical information
Able to communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities
Interested in learning data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
Familiarity with Python, statistics, or business intelligence tools is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in analytics, business, computer science, economics, or a related field is helpful but not required
Recent graduates, career changers, bootcamp graduates, and self-taught candidates with relevant projects are encouraged to apply
