The Role
We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help design, build, and scale our software platforms. You’ll take ownership of features from concept to production, working across the frontend, backend, and cloud infrastructure. As a senior member of the team, you’ll help shape our architecture, set engineering standards, and mentor other developers, while staying hands-on with the code every day.
What you’ll do
Design, build, and maintain scalable web applications across the full stack
Develop clean, responsive, and intuitive user interfaces
Build robust, secure APIs and backend services
Contribute to system architecture and technical design decisions
Deploy and manage applications on cloud infrastructure using modern DevOps practices
Write well-tested, maintainable code and champion best practices through code reviews
Mentor junior engineers and help raise the bar for the wider team
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality features
What we’re looking for
5+ years of professional experience as a full stack or software engineer
Strong frontend skills in React / TypeScript
Solid backend experience with Node.js / Python / FastAPI or Django
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP), Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
Experience designing and building RESTful or GraphQL APIs
A good understanding of software architecture, security, and performance best practices
Strong problem-solving skills and clear communication
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, small-team environment with a high level of ownership
Nice to have
Experience working on software for the automotive sector
Previous experience in a startup or early-stage company
Experience with performance optimisation and scaling high-traffic applications
Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub portfolio
