About the Opportunity:
The CMDB AND ATTACK SURFACE MANAGEMENT SUPPORT - SERVICENOW DEVELOPER role is responsible for designing and developing ServiceNow solutions that enhance CMDB capabilities and support Attack Surface Management initiatives. This position plays a critical role in improving data quality, developing dashboards, workflows, and service catalog items, and integrating CMDB data with security and IT service management processes. The role contributes technical expertise to ensure stakeholders have trustworthy CMDB data to inform security and operational decisions.
Responsibilities:
Design, configure, and develop ServiceNow CMDB solutions including Workspace views, dashboards, service catalog items, health rule configurations, ownership routing, and data quality automation.
Build Platform Analytics indicators, KPIs, scorecards, and dashboards for various stakeholders.
Develop and maintain CMDB ServiceNow Workspace and service catalog workflows for CI management.
Support SRM and ITSM enhancements as CMDB priorities allow.
Monitor CMDB and CI relationship health using ServiceNow KPIs and perform data quality analysis.
Collaborate with ServiceNow administrators and SMEs to validate Discovery data and reconcile CI data.
Translate CMDB-related initiative and governance requirements into ServiceNow-ready user stories and acceptance criteria.
Support backlog management, prioritization, and readiness for ServiceNow Platform Team delivery.
Validate data mappings, reporting needs, and stakeholder acceptance through UAT.
Develop knowledge articles to support stakeholder self-service and CMDB practice improvements.
Requirements:
3+ years developing and implementing ServiceNow solutions including forms, workflows, business rules, script includes, UI policies, and ACLs, with CMDB or related functions.
3+ years experience with ServiceNow CMDB operations, focusing on CI relationship health and data quality.
2+ years experience with ServiceNow Discovery in an analyst role.
2+ years building Performance Analytics or Platform Analytics indicators and dashboards.
2+ years developing ServiceNow Service Catalog items and workflows.
Experience translating operational, security, or governance requirements into ServiceNow user stories and supporting Agile delivery.
Experience with REST and JSON APIs, including GraphQL.
Knowledge of ITIL Configuration Management, CSDM framework, and CI lifecycle management.
U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of the work.
Pay Range and Compensation Package:
