Senior Vice President Business Operations

Role Description The Senior Vice President Business Operations at Graduados de la Facultad de Ciencias Económicas de la UNMSM is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing end-to-end business and operational strategy across the organization. This role leads the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of operational frameworks to ensure efficient delivery of programs, services, and member initiatives. The Senior Vice President collaborates with executive leadership to align business operations with financial objectives, risk management practices, and long-term strategic goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include directing cross-functional teams, monitoring key performance indicators, optimizing processes, managing budgets, and ensuring that operational policies and procedures support sustainable growth. The role also involves building partnerships, guiding change management efforts, and fostering a culture of accountability, data-driven decision-making, and inclusive collaboration.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Business Operations and Operations Management, with a track record of leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
Advanced Analytical Skills and experience using data and metrics to drive decision-making, performance improvement, and operational efficiency.
Demonstrated ability in Program Management, including planning, execution, monitoring, and evaluation of strategic programs and projects.
Solid understanding of Finance, budgeting, and financial planning, with the ability to align operational decisions with financial goals.
Proven leadership experience at a senior level, including people management, coaching, and building high-performing, inclusive teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse functional areas.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Management, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
Experience working remotely and managing distributed teams, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
Background in professional associations, higher education, or member-based organizations is an advantage.
