Role Description
We are looking for an SEO Specialist who understands both on-page and off-page SEO and can work confidently in WordPress to improve rankings, organic traffic, and website performance.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct keyword research and competitor analysis
Optimize on-page elements: titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking, images, and page speed
Build off-page SEO through quality backlinks, guest posts, and outreach
Manage SEO on WordPress sites, including plugins like Yoast or Rank Math, schema, permalinks, and site structure
Run SEO audits and fix technical issues
Track results with Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO tools
Prepare monthly performance reports with clear recommendations
Work with content and development teams
Requirements
Proven experience in on-page and off-page SEO
Hands-on experience with WordPress SEO
Knowledge of tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar
Knowledge of Google algorithm updates and best practices
Good communication and reporting skills
Nice to Have
Basic HTML/CSS knowledge
Experience with content writing or content strategy
