About the Role
Clearprise is recruiting DevOps engineers to support an international cybersecurity business.
We are looking for candidates who can help build, automate, maintain, and troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment workflows while developing secure engineering practices.
You may already have cybersecurity experience or be a capable DevOps engineer committed to learning it. Candidates will be assessed on practical ability, communication, reliability, and willingness to develop.
The role is open across technology stacks. No specific cloud provider, programming language, or DevOps platform is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
Support infrastructure configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
Build and maintain automated deployment and CI/CD workflows
Improve system reliability, monitoring, and operational efficiency
Automate repetitive infrastructure and deployment tasks
Investigate deployment failures and infrastructure issues
Collaborate with engineering and cybersecurity teams
Help implement secure access, configuration, and secrets-management practices
Document infrastructure, procedures, changes, and troubleshooting steps
Communicate progress, blockers, and risks clearly
Learn and apply cybersecurity practices relevant to assigned projects
Responsibilities and ownership will match the selected candidate’s experience.
Mandatory Requirements
Demonstrable hands-on DevOps experience through professional work or substantial practical projects
Understanding of infrastructure, deployment workflows, automation, and troubleshooting
A CompTIA certification or a soft-skills certification, with supporting evidence
Cybersecurity experience or a clear willingness to learn and apply cybersecurity practices
Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
Professional English and clear communication
Ability to work remotely from Pakistan for eight hours per day, Monday–Friday, aligned with US working hours
Reliable internet connection and suitable work equipment
Accurate CV reflecting the experience and certifications claimed

Strongly Preferred
Experience supporting production infrastructure
Experience with a cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Infrastructure as code, containerization, or orchestration experience
Practical CI/CD implementation
Monitoring, logging, backup, or recovery experience
Security-focused infrastructure work, access controls, vulnerability remediation, or system hardening
Experience working with international clients or remote technical teams
These are preferred areas of experience, rather than a requirement to know every listed technology.
