Role Description The Brand Strategist Intern role is a remote internship focused on supporting brand strategy and development initiatives across Laneway’s consulting, technology, and media projects. In this role, the intern will assist in researching market trends, competitors, and target audiences to inform brand positioning and messaging. Day-to-day tasks include contributing to brand strategy documents, helping shape brand narratives, and supporting the creation of visual and verbal brand guidelines in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The intern will also help coordinate brand-related deliverables, prepare presentations, and support communication with internal stakeholders. This internship offers hands-on exposure to modern brand-building practices and opportunities to learn from strategy, marketing, and product teams.
Qualifications
Ability to apply Brand Strategy and Brand Development skills to support positioning, messaging, and market differentiation.
Understanding of Branding and Brand Management to help maintain consistency across channels and touchpoints.
Strong Communication skills, including clear written and verbal communication and the ability to present ideas effectively.
Interest in business consulting, marketing, and digital products, with a willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
Analytical mindset with basic research skills and comfort working with qualitative and quantitative insights.
Collaborative approach and ability to work independently in a remote environment, managing time and tasks effectively.
Pursuing or recently completed a degree in business, marketing, communications, design, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Familiarity with social media, digital marketing concepts, and basic presentation tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or similar) is beneficial.
