Role Description The Web Developer Intern role at Weskill is a remote internship position focused on supporting the development and enhancement of the platform’s web-based features and user interfaces. Day-to-day tasks may include implementing front-end components, assisting with back-end functionality, debugging and testing web applications, and collaborating with mentors to refine design and user experience. The intern will work closely with the technical and product teams to translate requirements into clean, efficient code and ensure responsive and accessible web pages. This internship also offers opportunities to learn modern web development practices, participate in code reviews, and contribute to documentation for ongoing projects.
Qualifications
Foundational skills in Web Development and Programming, with the ability to write clear, maintainable code.
Experience or coursework in Front-End Development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
Exposure to Back-End Web Development concepts such as APIs, databases, or server-side languages.
Basic Web Design skills, with an understanding of responsive layouts and user-centered design principles.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Ability to learn quickly, follow technical guidance, and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
Strong problem-solving, debugging, and attention-to-detail capabilities.
Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) and an interest in modern web technologies is advantageous.
