AutoCAD & CAD Design Intern

Role Description The AutoCAD & CAD Design Intern will support design projects by creating, updating, and organizing CAD drawings under the guidance of senior team members. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and revising architectural and construction drawings, assisting with space planning layouts, and ensuring design documents meet project requirements and standards. The intern will collaborate with mentors and peers, communicate effectively about design changes, and maintain documentation for ongoing training and project work. This is a remote internship role, offering flexible learning and project experience in a virtual environment.
Qualifications
Ability to create and interpret Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings, with attention to technical accuracy.
Strong Drawing skills and understanding of Space Planning principles for functional and efficient layouts.
Effective Communication skills to collaborate with mentors, share project updates, and clarify design requirements.
Basic proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software, with a willingness to learn advanced features.
Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in architecture, civil engineering, interior design, or a related field.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to follow guidelines and project specifications.
Comfortable working in a remote environment, managing time and tasks independently.
Interest in gaining practical, industry-oriented experience and building a career in design or construction fields.
