Digital Assassin is a digital marketing agency working with businesses across multiple industries. We build, manage and optimise websites, with a strong focus on Website-as-a-Service (WaaS), technical SEO, website performance and digital growth.
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager / Senior Web Developer who combines strong hands-on development skills with project management capabilities. The ideal candidate will manage multiple website projects, coordinate with internal teams and clients, and ensure high-quality delivery within agreed timelines.
Key Responsibilities1. Website Development & Technical Delivery
Develop, maintain and optimise responsive, mobile-first websites.
Convert Figma designs into pixel-accurate, functional websites.
Write clean, maintainable HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript code.
Work with Shopify and WordPress, including theme customisation and platform-specific development.
Learn and work with CoreDNA and its Smarty templating system as required.
Troubleshoot website issues and resolve technical SEO, functionality and performance problems.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility and responsive behaviour.
Implement technical SEO requirements, including semantic HTML, heading hierarchy, metadata and schema markup.
Support GA4, Google Tag Manager and website tracking implementations.
Use Bitbucket for version control and code collaboration.
2. Project Management & Client Delivery
Manage multiple website development projects and ongoing website maintenance tasks.
Plan project timelines, set priorities and coordinate development resources.
Work closely with designers, developers, SEO specialists, digital marketers and other stakeholders.
Track project progress, identify risks and resolve blockers proactively.
Ensure projects meet the agreed scope, brief, timeline and quality standards.
Communicate project updates, technical requirements and dependencies clearly.
Manage client feedback, revisions and change requests.
Maintain project documentation, task boards, checklists and delivery records.
Take ownership of outcomes and work independently with minimal supervision.
3. Quality Assurance & Optimisation
Test websites across browsers, devices and screen sizes.
Review functionality, responsiveness, performance and technical implementation before launch.
Identify opportunities to improve development workflows and reusable components.
Maintain consistent coding standards and quality across multiple client projects.
Collaborate with the digital marketing team to support SEO, analytics, conversion tracking and website optimisation.
Required Technical SkillsCore Web Development
Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Flexbox, Grid and responsive design.
Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery and DOM manipulation.
Experience converting Figma designs into pixel-accurate websites.
Understanding of page speed, website performance and optimisation.
Knowledge of semantic HTML, accessibility and technical SEO fundamentals.
Experience with Bitbucket and version control.
Platform Knowledge
Shopify: Knowledge of Liquid templating, themes and customisation.
WordPress: Working knowledge of PHP and the WordPress template hierarchy.
CoreDNA: Prior experience is not required. Willingness to learn CoreDNA and Smarty templating is essential.
Analytics & Marketing Technology
Familiarity with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager.
Understanding of website tracking, event configuration and conversion tracking.
Required Experience & Competencies
5–6 years of relevant experience in web development, technical delivery or web project management.
Previous experience working in a digital marketing agency or a multi-client environment.
Strong understanding of website development lifecycles, from briefing and planning to testing and launch.
Excellent English communication is mandatory. Candidates must be fluent in spoken English and have strong professional English writing skills.
Ability to write clear, grammatically correct client emails, project updates, technical documentation and internal communications independently.
Excellent organisational, planning and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive, accountable approach.
Ability to make sound technical decisions and deliver with minimal supervision.
Work Arrangement
Hybrid working model based in Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, Delhi NCR.
Minimum 2 days per week in the office is mandatory.
Remaining working days can be remote, subject to project requirements and team coordination.
Ideal Candidate
