## About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented **Junior Cybersecurity Architecture Analyst** to support the design, documentation, and review of security controls across business systems, cloud environments, and IT infrastructure.
This role is suitable for an early-career IT professional who wants to understand how organizations design secure technology environments. Working alongside experienced security architects and engineers, you will help review technical designs, document security requirements, and identify potential risks before systems are deployed.
Training and mentorship will be provided to help you develop your knowledge of security architecture principles and enterprise security practices.
## Key Responsibilities
* Assist with documenting security architecture diagrams, standards, and technical requirements.
* Support reviews of proposed IT systems and technology changes against established security guidelines.
* Help identify security risks in applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
* Maintain records of security controls, design decisions, and risk assessments.
* Assist with evaluating authentication, encryption, network segmentation, and access-control requirements.
* Support the review of system configurations against approved security baselines.
* Help prepare security assessment reports and recommendations for senior reviewers.
* Collaborate with infrastructure, application development, cloud, and compliance teams.
* Research emerging security technologies and industry best practices.
* Track remediation actions arising from security architecture reviews.
* Follow organizational policies for handling confidential technical information.
## Requirements
* Diploma or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field; equivalent practical knowledge may be considered.
* Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
* Familiarity with common security concepts, including least privilege, encryption, authentication, and defense in depth.
* Basic awareness of cloud computing and enterprise IT environments.
* Ability to read technical documentation and organize information accurately.
* Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Willingness to learn security architecture frameworks and design-review processes.
**Entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply.** Academic projects, internships, home labs, and introductory cybersecurity certifications are useful but not necessarily required.
## Preferred Skills
