Role Description This full-time remote role focuses on Greek audio transcription for a variety of clients and content types. The transcription specialist will listen to Greek audio recordings and produce accurate written transcripts, ensuring correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing audio quality, identifying speakers, applying client-specific formatting guidelines, and verifying the clarity and completeness of transcripts. The role may also involve light audio editing for clarity, coordinating with project managers, and meeting defined turnaround times while maintaining high quality standards.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess skills in Audio Engineering and Audio Editing for understanding sound quality and handling basic audio adjustments.
Candidates should possess skills in Live Sound and Audio Visual (AV) Systems to work effectively with diverse recording environments and formats.
Candidates should possess skills in Social Media to understand common digital content formats and platform-specific audio use.
Native-level or highly proficient Greek language skills, with strong grammar, spelling, and listening comprehension.
Proficiency in English for communication with clients and project teams.
Excellent attention to detail, typing accuracy, and the ability to follow transcription guidelines and style conventions.
Reliable internet connection and comfort working with cloud-based tools and audio software in a remote setting.
Prior experience in transcription, linguistics, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
