Role Description
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team on a part-time, contract basis. The role focuses exclusively on editing existing video footage into engaging, high-quality content for social media and digital platforms.
The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of video editing, typography, text overlays, transitions, sound synchronization, and visual storytelling. The candidate will work with our team to transform raw footage into polished videos that align with our brand identity and content strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into engaging videos for social media and promotional campaigns.
- Add typography, text overlays, transitions, subtitles, and basic motion graphics.
- Enhance videos through appropriate color correction, sound synchronization, and audio adjustments.
- Create short-form content optimized for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok.
- Maintain consistency in video quality, style, and brand identity.
- Incorporate feedback and deliver edited videos within agreed deadlines.
Qualifications & Skills
- Basic to intermediate video editing skills.
- Familiarity with editing software such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
- Good understanding of typography, transitions, pacing, and visual composition.
- Ability to create clean, engaging, and professional-looking videos.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
- A portfolio or showreel demonstrating previous editing work is preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively and meet deadlines.
Work Arrangement & Compensation
- Job Type: Part-time / Contract
- Location: Islamabad, with a flexible or hybrid arrangement where applicable.
- Compensation: Paid on an agreed basis, depending on workload, project requirements, and skill level.
