Job Description:
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Utility Billing Analyst to manage utility invoices, monitor payments, maintain account records, and resolve billing discrepancies. The ideal candidate has experience in utility billing, accounts payable, or property accounting, preferably within US multifamily property management.
Key Responsibilities
Review and process utility invoices accurately and on time.
Coordinate with utility providers and vendors regarding billing concerns and payments.
Maintain utility account records and support account setup and transfers.
Reconcile utility expenses and payments with accounting records.
Investigate billing discrepancies, duplicate charges, and late fees.
Prepare utility expense reports and financial documentation.
Support resident utility billing and vacant unit cost recovery.
Collaborate with Property Management and Accounting teams to improve billing processes.
Qualifications
At least 3 years of experience in utility billing, accounts payable, property accounting, or a related finance role.
Experience in US multifamily property management or affordable housing is an advantage.
Knowledge of Yardi, NetSuite, Conservice, or similar systems is preferred.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent English communication skills.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Amenable to work remotely on a nightshift schedule
