Position Overview
We are seeking motivated and eager Interns to join our team for a 3-month internship program. This position is designed for individuals interested in gaining hands-on experience in heavy civil construction and site development. Interns will work alongside experienced professionals, learning about project management, field operations, and the business of site development.
Key Responsibilities
Assist project teams with daily field operations, including site preparation, grading, utilities, and project layout.
Support the Preconstruction and Field Management teams with estimating, takeoffs, and project documentation.
Participate in jobsite safety meetings and contribute to maintaining a safe working environment.
Collect and organize project data such as daily reports, equipment logs, and material tracking.
Shadow experienced operators, foremen, and superintendents to learn various aspects of sitework.
Provide general administrative and field support as needed to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or technical training in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Heavy Equipment Operations, or related field.
Strong interest in site development, construction, and heavy equipment.
Reliable transportation to and from Ravenel, SC, job sites.
Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) preferred.
