Pipe Layer

Sea Island Land Development is seeking an experienced Pipe Layer to join our growing team. As a Pipe Layer with Sea Island, you’ll play an important role in the successful completion of our sitework and utility projects by installing underground pipe with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency. Primary Responsibilities:
Install storm drainage, sewer, water, and other underground utility pipes.
Read and interpret utility plans, site plans, and grade stakes.
Use pipe lasers and other tools to maintain proper grade alignment.
Properly prepare bedding and ensure pipe-related tasks as needed.
Communicate effectively with foreman, equipment operators, and other crew members.
Qualifications:
Previous pipe laying or underground utility experience preferred.
Knowledge of pipe installation, grading, and utility construction.
Ability to read plans and follow grade stakes
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform physically demanding work.
