Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced EDI Developer with strong hands-on expertise in EDI development, EDIFACT standards, VB.NET, and Microsoft SQL Server. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise-level EDI solutions and B2B integrations while ensuring seamless data exchange between business partners and enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain EDI solutions for business-to-business (B2B) integrations.
Develop and support EDI transactions using EDIFACT standards and EDI mapping techniques.
Build, enhance, and maintain applications using VB.NET.
Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and database operations in Microsoft SQL Server.
Troubleshoot EDI transaction failures, mapping issues, and integration errors.
Provide production support, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent fixes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, business partners, and technical stakeholders to resolve integration issues.
Monitor EDI transaction processing and ensure data accuracy, reliability, and compliance with business requirements.
Support existing applications and contribute to system enhancements and performance optimization.
Required Skills
6–8 years of experience in EDI development and support.
Strong hands-on experience with EDIFACT standards and EDI mapping.
Proficiency in VB.NET development.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
Hands-on experience with B2B integration and EDI transaction troubleshooting.
Experience in production support, incident management, and root cause analysis.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Good-to-Have Skills
Experience with VB6/VB5.
Knowledge of ANSI X12 EDI standards.
Familiarity with EDI mapping and integration tools.
Experience with API integrations.
Exposure to Microsoft Azure services.
