🚀 We’re Hiring | Manager – YouTube | Unacademy
We’re looking for a Manager – YouTube to own and drive YouTube growth for Unacademy, with a strong focus on content strategy, audience growth, engagement and business impact.
This is a data-driven content and growth role for someone who understands the YouTube ecosystem deeply, knows how to build and scale channels, and can turn content insights into measurable growth.
What you’ll own
Own the YouTube strategy and growth for assigned categories/channels.
Develop and execute content and channel growth strategies aligned with business goals.
Drive views, watch time, subscribers, engagement and audience retention.
Analyse YouTube performance data and identify opportunities for growth.
Work closely with Content, Educators, Marketing, Design, Product and Business teams.
Identify content trends, audience behaviour and formats that can drive higher engagement.
Optimise titles, thumbnails, content formats, publishing strategy and channel performance.
Track key YouTube metrics and use data to improve content performance.
Experiment with new content formats, ideas and growth levers.
Present performance insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
What we’re looking for
3-6 years of experience in YouTube, Content, Digital Media, Growth or a similar role.
Strong hands-on experience in YouTube channel management and growth.
Strong understanding of YouTube analytics, audience behaviour and content performance.
Experience driving views, watch time, subscribers and engagement.
Strong understanding of content strategy, YouTube SEO, thumbnails, titles and formats.
Excellent with numbers, data and performance metrics.
Ability to identify trends, analyse performance and translate insights into action.
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Strong ownership, execution and problem-solving mindset.
Prior EdTech experience is preferred.
Important
🔴 Strong YouTube experience is mandatory for this role.
