As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of custom software solutions. Responsibilities:
Own the technical direction and architecture of custom software solutions, leading teams through design and delivery.
Set development standards and ensure code quality, scalability, and performance aligned to business objectives.
Expected to be an SME, collaborate, and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Lead the development and implementation of best practices to enhance software quality and efficiency.
Mentor and support team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment of technical strategies with organizational objectives.
Requirements:
Must-have skills: Proficiency in SAP EWM.
Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns relevant to enterprise solutions.
Experience in managing software development lifecycles and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
Ability to analyze complex technical problems and provide effective, scalable solutions.
Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholders.
Familiarity with performance optimization and scalability considerations in software engineering.
The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP EWM.
This position is based at our BDC14A-STPI location.
A 15-year full-time education is required.
