Job Description – Assistant Manager- Sales Support
Role Purpose
Support sales operations, partner servicing, governance, reporting, commercial coordination, and cross-functional stakeholder management while ensuring process compliance, service excellence, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily sales support operations and manage stakeholder queries from internal teams, travel partners, corporates, OTAs, and GSAs.
Act as the primary interface between Sales, Revenue Management, Finance, Customer Experience, Digital, Legal, and other departments.
Monitor SLAs, turnaround times, and quality standards for all sales support requests.
Prepare, analyze, and publish sales reports, MIS dashboards, performance metrics, and business presentations.
Support implementation and governance of sales policies, SOPs, corporate agreements, incentive programs, and commercial initiatives.
Track contract execution, partner onboarding, access management, and sales support documentation.
Review exception requests, waivers, refunds, name corrections, and policy deviations in line with approved guidelines.
Identify process improvement opportunities and drive automation, standardization, and efficiency initiatives.
Ensure audit readiness, compliance adherence, and maintenance of complete documentation trails.
Support business projects, product launches, partner communications, and sales campaigns as assigned.
Qualification & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Business, Aviation, Travel & Tourism, Commerce, Management, or related discipline.
3-5 years of experience in airline, travel, hospitality, sales operations, or customer support functions.
Experience in stakeholder management and handling partner-facing operational processes.
Skills & Competencies
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and reporting tools.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of airline reservation systems, SkySpeed, Navitaire, GDS, or similar platforms is preferred.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on governance and process compliance.
