Lead - Business Analyst (SB)

Lead Business Analyst - Engineering & MRO will act as the key liaison between Engineering, Maintenance, MRO Operations, and Digital Technology teams. The role is responsible for driving business analysis, process transformation, and digital solution delivery across aircraft maintenance and engineering functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong airline engineering domain expertise, hands-on knowledge of AMOS, and the ability to translate operational requirements into scalable technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Stakeholder Management
Partner with Engineering, Maintenance Planning, Reliability, Technical Services, Materials, Quality, and MRO stakeholders to identify business needs and improvement opportunities.
Conduct requirement gathering workshops, process mapping sessions, and solution reviews.
Develop Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications, User Stories, Process Flows, and Acceptance Criteria.
Manage and prioritize business requirements and product backlogs.
Act as the primary interface between business users, vendors, and technology teams.
Engineering & MRO Digital Transformation
Lead digital initiatives across:
Line Maintenance
Base Maintenance
Maintenance Planning
Technical Records
Reliability Management
Materials & Inventory Management
Engineering Compliance
Maintenance Control Centre (MCC)
Drive process standardization, automation, and operational efficiency initiatives.
Support continuous improvement programs focused on aircraft availability, maintenance productivity, and regulatory compliance.
AMOS Functional Leadership
Serve as the functional SME for AMOS (Swiss-AS).
Gather and translate engineering business requirements into AMOS solutions.
Support AMOS enhancements, configuration changes, integrations, testing, and deployment.
Collaborate with vendors and internal technology teams to maximize value from AMOS capabilities.
Support integration of AMOS with ERP, Electronic Tech Log, Aircraft Health Monitoring, and other operational systems.
Delivery, Testing & Implementation
Support solution design and review activities.
Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect management, and business sign-offs.
Ensure delivered solutions align with business objectives and operational processes.
Support production rollouts, user adoption, and hypercare activities.
Reporting & Analytics
Define business KPIs and reporting requirements.
