Role Description The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure to support the company’s blockchain-enabled communication solutions. This full-time, on-site role in Gurugram involves building and managing CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure provisioning, and optimizing system performance in Linux-based environments. The engineer will collaborate closely with software development teams to streamline releases, improve observability, and maintain robust system administration practices. Daily activities include monitoring production systems, troubleshooting incidents, enhancing deployment workflows, and contributing to architecture decisions for cloud and on-premises setups. The role also includes implementing best practices in security, backup, and disaster recovery, while mentoring team members and supporting continuous improvement in DevOps processes.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills, including experience with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar automation frameworks.
Candidates should possess solid Software Development capabilities, with proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Go, or Bash) to build automation and tooling.
Candidates should possess hands-on expertise in Continuous Integration practices and CI/CD pipelines, using platforms like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
Candidates should possess robust System Administration experience, including deploying, configuring, and maintaining servers and services in production environments.
Candidates should possess advanced Linux skills, with familiarity in performance tuning, security hardening, and troubleshooting in cloud or bare-metal setups.
Relevant experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes) is highly beneficial.
Strong understanding of networking, security best practices, monitoring, and logging (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, along with prior experience in a DevOps or SRE role.
