Role Description This is a full-time Land Manager role based in Porbandar, structured as a hybrid position that combines on-site work with some flexibility for work from home. The Land Manager will oversee the identification, evaluation, and acquisition of land parcels for wind power projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting due diligence, coordinating appraisals, assessing legal and regulatory requirements, and negotiating land acquisition agreements. The role involves working closely with legal, finance, and project teams to ensure accurate documentation, timely approvals, and alignment with business objectives. The Land Manager will also maintain relationships with local authorities, landowners, and other stakeholders to support smooth transaction processes.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in Land Management and Land Acquisition, including due diligence and regulatory compliance.
Experience in Acquisitions and Appraisal, with the ability to evaluate land value, risks, and investment potential.
Knowledge of wind power projects, local property markets, and relevant legal frameworks.
Proficiency in negotiation, stakeholder management, and contract review.
Ability to analyze maps, survey reports, and land records; familiarity with GIS or land management tools is an advantage.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Ability to work in a hybrid setup, manage field visits in and around Porbandar, and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Relevant bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, urban planning, business, or a related field; prior experience in land management is preferred.
