Senior Full Stack Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Engineer who builds with AI by default and is comfortable across frontend, backend, and infrastructure. The role involves architecting intelligent systems, shipping AI-first features, and leading a small engineering team. The candidate will split responsibilities between individual contribution and emerging leadership, owning AI and backend direction while ensuring the team delivers high-impact work.
Responsibilities:
Build AI-first features end-to-end: LLM integrations, RAG pipelines, agents, prompt engineering, and evaluation frameworks.
Architect and ship backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, REST APIs, MySQL, and AWS infrastructure.
Integrate payment rails, KYC providers, and banking partners.
Develop polished frontend experiences with React and Capacitor (web + mobile).
Lead a team of 4-6 engineers: decompose projects, delegate, run 1:1s, and provide actionable feedback.
Prioritize ruthlessly to keep the team focused on high-impact work.
Think product: balance technical tradeoffs with user needs, knowing where AI adds genuine value.
Requirements:
2-5 years of engineering experience building LLM-powered or intelligent systems in production.
Expertise in TypeScript and Node.js ; strong React and Capacitor skills.
Solid experience with MySQL, AWS, and API integrations.
Familiarity with modern AI stack: LLMs, vector DBs, RAG, prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks.
Proven leadership experience: project ownership, delegation, and outcome delivery.
Strong communication skills to bridge technical and business goals.
Aspiration to grow into Engineering Lead, beyond the individual contributor track.
Good to Have:
Experience in fintech/remittance platforms.
Knowledge of KYC/AML integrations.
Exposure to AI agents, multimodel orchestration, or MLOps.
Familiarity with OpenTelemetry.
Published mobile apps.
