Role Description The Interior Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in South Delhi. The individual will develop design concepts, prepare mood boards, select materials and finishes, and create detailed layouts that reflect client requirements and project constraints. Day-to-day tasks include space planning, coordinating with architects and contractors, preparing and reviewing construction drawings, and overseeing implementation to ensure design intent is maintained. The role involves sourcing and specifying FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), managing vendor relationships, and conducting site visits for measurements, supervision, and quality checks. The Interior Designer will also attend client meetings, present design proposals, and collaborate with the internal team to deliver projects on schedule.
Qualifications
Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills, with the ability to translate client needs into practical and visually appealing layouts.
Working knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings to coordinate effectively with project teams and ensure accurate execution.
Experience with FF&E selection, including furniture, fixtures, equipment, finishes, and material specifications.
Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic office productivity tools.
Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Strong visual communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively on-site with clients and contractors.
Prior experience in residential or commercial interior projects in an urban setting is an advantage.
