Cloud Infrastructure Engineer || Remote Opportunity- India-Based Candidates || 5+ Years’ Experience
About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our global Cloud & IT Services team and support enterprise customers across Microsoft Azure and AWS.
In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the stability, security, availability, and operational performance of large-scale cloud infrastructure. You will provide L3 technical support, troubleshoot complex production issues, and work closely with global customers and internal cloud and infrastructure teams.
You will manage and support an environment of approximately 300 virtual servers, covering Azure and AWS cloud infrastructure, Linux and Windows servers, AKS/Kubernetes clusters, and enterprise monitoring platforms.

What You'll Do:
Provide L3 infrastructure support across Microsoft Azure and AWS environments.
Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux and Windows Server environments.
Manage incidents, service requests, and infrastructure issues across approximately 300 virtual servers.
Perform regular server patching, maintenance, health checks, and lifecycle activities.
Perform AKS/Kubernetes cluster patching and upgrades, including post-upgrade validation and cluster health checks.
Troubleshoot complex production infrastructure issues and drive issues through to resolution.
Collaborate with cloud engineers, infrastructure specialists, and customer stakeholders during incidents and planned maintenance.
Monitor infrastructure availability, performance, backups, capacity, and overall health.
Follow established ITIL-based incident, problem, and change-management processes.
Support enterprise SAP infrastructure hosted on Azure, as required.
Maintain accurate technical documentation, operational procedures, and runbooks.
Identify opportunities for automation, operational improvement, and infrastructure optimization.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
Hands-on experience working with both Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud environments.
Strong L3 administration and troubleshooting experience across Linux and Windows Server.
Proven experience supporting production cloud infrastructure in an enterprise environment.
Hands-on experience with AKS/Kubernetes patching, upgrades, and cluster health validation.
Strong incident management, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Practical experience with server patching, maintenance, and infrastructure operations.
Good understanding of ITIL-based incident, problem, and change-management processes.
Ability to work effectively with global teams and enterprise customers.
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues and solutions clearly.
