Senior Accountant

Location: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah & Other UAE Locations
Salary: AED 120,000 – 240,000+ per year (depending on experience, qualifications and employer)
Experience Required: 5 – 12+ years
Job Overview
We are currently shortlisting experienced Senior Accountants for opportunities with UAE-based employers across finance, trading, manufacturing, construction, retail, hospitality and corporate sectors.
Selected candidates may receive guidance regarding employer sponsorship, employment documentation, UAE work-visa processing and relocation, subject to employer requirements and individual eligibility.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day accounting and financial reporting activities
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
Handle general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable
Perform bank, balance sheet and account reconciliations
Prepare budgets, forecasts and variance analysis
Support internal and external audits
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies
Monitor financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records
Coordinate with finance teams, management and external stakeholders
Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field
5–12+ years of relevant accounting experience
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, reconciliations and general accounting
Experience with ERP/accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or similar systems
Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls
Professional qualification such as ACCA, CMA, CPA or CA is an advantage
Strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
Candidates must meet the selected employer's recruitment and UAE employment requirements
